We are delighted to be welcoming our guest back.

The safety and wellbeing of every guest, customer and staff member is at the heart of all we do at the Royal Exeter Hotel, 1812 and Bar So.

We have introduced enhanced and even more frequent cleaning protocols to ensure a safer environment for your stay with us. We undertake to change our hospitality services to comply with the most up to date Government guidelines and will keep updating our guidance as we receive it.

Please do not travel if you feel unwell of have any COVID-19 symptoms and follow Government advice.

Here’s some of the key features we are doing to keep you and our team safe:

Rigorous deep and regular cleaning and sanitisation of bedrooms and public areas with extra attention to high touch surfaces throughout all parts of the hotel

Safe check in and out. Reduced contact and sanitised keys for your room issued on arrival

Reduced time at the reception desk. Contactless payments

Screens are in place and safe distancing markers provided

One way routes are provided and hand sanitising stations are available throughout the hotel

Our housekeepers will not enter your room during your stay, fresh towels will be provided on request and delivered to your room

Rooms are decluttered, cleaned and prepared ready for you

Hand sanitising is provided throughout the hotel for your use

Restaurant & Bar service is socially distanced. Plate service and table service is offered.

Breakfast will be served in our 1812 Restaurant and Lounge. Table reservations are taken at the check-in. Seating is available at 8am, 8.30am, 8.45am, 9am and 9.30am.

All meals are served at a single time. Open buffets are not available

All leisure facilities are currently closed

Our team will be wearing facemasks and gloves to protect you and each other
